Next Generation Junior Bull Riding coming to the State Fair of Nevada June 12

Special Friday night event to highlight rising rodeo athletes Thanks to Q&D Construction

Rising rodeo athletes will compete in Next Generation Junior Bull Riding, sponsored by Q&D Construction, during the official State Fair of Nevada on June 12, 2026, at the Nevada State Fairgrounds in Reno.

This special event begins at 7:30 p.m. and will showcase youth competitors demonstrating skill, determination and Western tradition in the sport of bull riding.

“Ranching and rodeos are part of Nevada’s heritage and way of life,” Nevada Department of Agriculture Director J.J. Goicoechea said. “This event brings exciting energy to the official State Fair of Nevada while showcasing the next generation of rodeo.”

General admission tickets for the State Fair of Nevada on June 12 are $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 and younger. Admission to the Next Generation Junior Bull Riding event is available as a purchase add-on ranging from $15 to $25. All-inclusive wristbands are also available for $50 for adults and $30 for children ages 12 and younger. Wristbands include:

  • General admission to all three days of the official State Fair of Nevada

  • Admission to the Opening Night Ceremony and concert featuring Caleb Montgomery

  • Admission to Next Generation Junior Bull Riding on Friday, June 12

The State Fair of Nevada will take place on June 11-13, 2026, bringing together agriculture, entertainment, youth achievement and community celebration. Additional programming includes:

  • Nevada Junior Livestock Show and Sale

  • University of Nevada, Reno Extension’s 4-H State Expo

  • Opening Night Ceremony and Concert featuring Caleb Montgomery

  • Made in Nevada Farmers’ Market

  • Drone show

  • Local vendors, food and art

  • Carnival rides and more
